Bicton Gardens
Bicton Gardens have a history of over 300 years. Situated in the beautiful Otter Valley the gardens and mansion command beautiful views overlooking historic English Heritage Grade 1 listed parkland, stretching out towards Bicton Lake. For children there’s an indoor and outdoor play area, along with the Bicton Woodland Railway which takes you through the park.
Becky Falls
Becky Falls is situated in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, near Bovey Tracey. Explore ancient woodland, river walks, nature trails and waterfalls. There is also a gift shop, restaurant and tea room on site for refreshments.
Escot Historic Gardens
Escot Gardens are situated in Ottery St Mary and is uniquely attractive to garden enthusiasts with its champion trees and elegant shrubs, woodland paths, picnic spots and forest playgrounds. Visitors can also solve the maze, watch wildlife and little ones can discover the Play Barn.
Jurassic Coast
The Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site is England's first natural World Heritage Site - it is known as The Jurassic Coast. It covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon to Dorset, with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history.
Dartmoor
Dartmoor National Park is a beautiful moorland landscape with wooded valleys, windswept Tors and rushing rivers which covers an area of 368 square miles (953 sq. km). Locations vary from rivers 30m above sea level up to a challenging high point of 621m.
Dartmoor is a haven for walkers of all abilities and is very popular with cyclists and horse riders. You can also experience activities such as paragliding, canoeing, fishing and letterboxing.
Exmoor
Situated in North Devon, Exmoor National Park is the place to explore and discover. With its close proximity to the coast Exmoor boasts a combination of rugged coastline with dramatic cliffs, ancient woodland and expanses of moorland. Like Dartmoor, there is much to be explored for ramblers, cyclists, horse riders, nature enthusiasts and solitude seekers.
